The Ventura County Office of Education has embarked on a new vision for our hosted web sites. With new technology available for management of the sites, we have deployed a "Content Management System". A content management system (CMS) provides the hosted site with:
- Standardization across all your sites
- Continuity in design (Site design will brand each site with a unified color scheme allowing site visitors to better understand the way your organization is structured)
- Ease of use by site authors
- No specialized software installed on workstations (maintenance is done through the web)
